1. What are cookies & similar technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. Similar technologies include local storage (data saved by an app or website on your device), software development kits (SDKs) embedded in mobile apps, and mobile advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or the Android Advertising ID). These technologies can be "strictly necessary" (needed to provide a service you request), "functional" (remember preferences), "analytics" (understand usage), or "advertising" (deliver and measure ads).
2. Technologies on our website
The cobaltforgegames.com website is a lightweight informational site. It is designed to be privacy-friendly:
- No advertising cookies and no analytics cookies are set by us on the website.
- Fonts. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. This does not set a cookie, but it does involve a request to Google's servers, which receive your IP address in order to deliver the font files.
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google), which records standard server request logs (including IP address and user-agent) for security and reliability. These are server logs, not cookies.
- Functional storage. If we add features in future that require it (for example, remembering that you dismissed a banner), we may use a small amount of local storage; any such use will be strictly functional.
If we later introduce analytics or advertising on the website, we will update this Policy and, where required in the EU/EEA/UK, request your consent through a cookie banner before setting non-essential cookies.
3. Technologies in our games
Our mobile games do not use browser cookies. They do use the following on-device technologies:
- Local storage / preferences (strictly necessary). The Game stores your progress, settings, and account identifier on your device so it can function and remember where you left off.
- Analytics identifiers (analytics). Unity Analytics uses a session/installation identifier to measure gameplay in aggregate, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Advertising identifiers (advertising). When ads are shown, our advertising partner (Unity LevelPlay) and its ad networks may use your device's advertising identifier (Apple IDFA — only if you allow tracking via App Tracking Transparency — or the Android Advertising ID) to deliver and measure ads. Where required, we ask for your consent first.

5. Managing your choices
- Browser cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because our website sets no advertising/analytics cookies, this will not affect its core functionality.
- iOS advertising. Control ad tracking under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you deny tracking, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
- Android advertising. Reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, under Settings → Google → Ads.
- In-game consent (EU/EEA/UK). Where required, the Game presents a consent request before personalized ads or non-essential tracking; you can change your choice in the game's settings.
6. Third parties
Some technologies are set by third-party service providers. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies:

7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our website and games evolve. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, seek your consent.
