Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data for games published by Cobalt Forge Games — including Wormy's Descent. You can delete everything yourself from inside the game, or ask us to do it for you.

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Your game progress, in-game currency, unlocked items, and cloud backup will be permanently removed.

Option 1 — Delete in-game (fastest)

The quickest way to delete your account and all associated data:

Open the game.
Go to Settings.
Open your User Profile / Account (at the top of Settings).
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm when prompted.

This immediately deletes your cloud-save data and your game account, and clears the game's data stored on your device.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the game (for example, you've changed devices), email us and we'll delete your data for you:

Send an email to hello@cobaltforgegames.com with the subject "Account deletion request".
Tell us which game you play and, if you know it, any account or player ID, or the Google/Apple account you used to sign in — this helps us locate the right data.
We may contact you to verify the request before deleting, to protect your account.
We will complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleted:

Your game account created through Unity Player Authentication (the anonymous player ID, and any linked Google Play Games or Apple sign-in association).
Your Unity Cloud Save data — game progress, in-game currency and item balances, unlocked content, settings, and your chosen "Wormy name".
The game's data stored locally on your device (when you delete in-game).

Retained (only where necessary):

Aggregated or anonymized analytics that can no longer identify you may be retained to help improve our games.
Records we must keep by law — for example, transaction or tax records relating to any purchases. Note that in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and any records those stores hold are governed by their own policies and retention rules; deleting your game account does not delete data held by Apple or Google.
